Invitation to join Wellbeing Connect

October 6, 2020 by Christine Lines Leave a Comment

During this unprecedented time, there is a critical need for wellbeing support for changemakers who are dealing with the major challenges and pressures of social change work. In response to that need, our friends at The Wellbeing Project have created a space to connect changemakers with wellbeing practitioners: Wellbeing Connect.

As you are a wellbeing professional and valued member of our community, we would love to share this opportunity for you to join this new platform and serve social change in this way.

Joining means you will have the chance to contribute to solving major global issues by serving a critical need for changemakers. Wellbeing Connect is a simple, searchable database where changemakers can find professionals to support their specific needs and circumstances.

As a gesture of support to these individuals, who are often working within significant resource limitations, the platform is initially being launched with the profiles of practitioners who are willing and able to offer pro-bono services.

Here are a few helpful details about Wellbeing Connect:

  • Define your own time commitment: At any given time, you choose how many changemakers you’re able to serve with a consistent relationship of care, and work directly with each changemaker to set expectations about availability before any engagement.
  • Sign up and navigate in just a few minutes: You’ll fill out some basic details about your services and how you can support changemakers. After your profile is reviewed, we’ll let you know when it’s available.
  • Manage your profile anytime: you can update your qualifications and other details with just a few clicks.

If you have questions or feedback, feel free to get in touch with our friends at The Wellbeing Project here for support. We’re excited to see this new tool start serving changemakers around the world with your help!

Click here to see how the platform looks — a few practitioners signed up and we look forward to seeing more!

“I cannot do all the good that the world needs. But the world needs all the good that I can do.”

This gathering has been INCREDIBLE. As a small center based way out in Yosemite National Park, I really feel folded into the greater network. This feels so vital. Thank you for creating this!
