Online Programme Lead
Full time, 35h/week
We are inviting applications to lead and shape this important and exciting area, providing online educational programmes as a key component of our overall educational strategy. The role has considerable scope to make a difference to the Foundation’s capability and impact for the delivery of our mission in the world.
Reporting to the Education Steward, and as a member of the Education team, the postholder will: *develop, plan and test online programmes; *manage people, projects and budgets; *oversee conferences, events, talks and seek out new opportunities and take advantage of them.
We anticipate appointing someone with an entrepreneurial spirit who has a proven track record in leading the development and delivery of interactive online services. They will have the appetite, sensitivity and skills to meet the challenge of ‘embracing online’ for the Foundation (to complement our longstanding in-person and on-site work), ignite the development of our online offerings, lead and ensure the success of this new income stream. They will thoroughly know their field, have a collaborative and flexible approach, and be prepared to work ‘iteratively’ to test things out.

We are inviting applications for this key leadership role, an opportunity to make a huge difference to the Foundation’s capability, its own transformation, and ultimately to the delivery of our mission in the world. The role will lead our marketing with a particular focus on marketing educational programmes at an exciting time as we embrace online programming to complement our longstanding on-site work.
Reporting to the Lead Steward, our Chief Executive, we envisage the postholder will become a member of our leadership team and contribute fully to the development and delivery of the Foundation’s education strategy and other initiatives. Marketing responsibilities include:- *develop, plan and implement the Foundation’s marketing strategy, *monitor and measure its impact, *oversee our brand and external communications, *manage our web and social media presence. We are looking for a step change in our reach and impact in the world in these times when the Foundation has more to contribute than ever.
We anticipate appointing someone with: *a strong track record in the marketing area, *with excellent knowledge of marketing techniques, *a keen awareness of market trends, research, data analysis including in digital marketing direct to individuals. *They will also have the personal attributes and aptitude to apply their knowledge and experience in a way that is consistent with the Foundation’s spiritual principles. *We need someone with commitment, drive and sensitivity.
This is a new role so the postholder will be creating and shaping it in practice. We can be flexible about the level of the role and some content elements and are keen to get a good fit between organisational needs and the individual’s skills.
