The six sessions of this online course will give you the power to see what’s going on, in an interactive and yet safe environment. There will be engaging conversations around money, however, you won’t have to reveal sensitive details of personal or organizational financial issues with anyone.
Discover how money issues are creating confusion. Gain clarity around next steps to freeing yourself and your organization from dysfunctional and costly money tangles. Afterwards, you may want to engage in deeper work – individually and organizationally – to access the full potential of your center.
Modules
Session 1
How entangled is your organization?
Assess the extent to which your organization is affected by money issues, so you know how big a priority this is and how urgent it is to address it. Gain clarity around how much money you may be missing out on due to money tangles.
Session 2
The three common blocks
Learn to recognise and understand common blocks within organizations. Identify strategies to work with shame and guilt. Gain tools to overcome how these blocks affect people because of societal dysfunction around money.
Session 3
The eight money archetypes
Although each individual is infinitely complex, the way we deal with money falls into certain predictable patterns. Understanding the archetypes that underlie those patterns helps you shift to a much healthier pattern.
Session 4
The eight money archetypes
Take a deeper dive into the money archetypes and how they show up in your own life and in your organisation. Learn strategies to shift some of those named patterns.
Session 5
Fundraising and partnership
Cultivate more spaciousness around money-related reactions in the sacred act of fundraising. Overcome the sense of fear or discomfort about asking for money, whether for yourself or for the organization. Learn to stand in the mindset that cultivates partnerships.
Session 6
The road ahead
Integrate the learning and identify small but significant steps you can take to ease money issues in your organization. Begin to see a clear path/plan to unwinding money issues and transforming into a center that thrives financially.Times and Prices

Karen has worked with over 100 clients, helping them untangle their money issues and to become more effective in their work because of it. To do this, Karen has studied financial issues extensively from both the practical, behavioral, and the emotional perspectives.
She has been certified by Deborah Price of the The Money Coaching Institute as a Certified Money Coach, a Couples Money Coach, and a Business Archetype Coach. She has studied with Lynne Twist from the Soul of Money Institute for two years on Mastering your Money and Transforming your Life, including studies in Lynne’s Fundraising from the Heart program.
Further, Karen has made use of that training through her own role as founding member at Clear Sky, and is currently Chair of the Board and leader of Fund Development. Her passion for this arises out of her deep desire to make the world a better place, and her realization that so many amazing organizations don’t have the funds they need to truly fulfill their missions, despite the millions of dollars floating around in the economy. She wants you to get that money and get the job done!
