Introducing Joel and Dana
For 25 years Joel Solomon served as Chair of the Hollyhock Board, weaving stewardship and profound responsibility with optimism, inspiration and realism. He activates money and business into pragmatic models for long term balance of ecology and society. Joel is a sought-after advisor to many businesses, families, and not-for-profit organizations.
Dana Bass Solomon joined the Hollyhock Board in the late 90s and served 18 years as CEO from 2000 -2018. Prior to this she gained over 10 years of senior management in the hospitality and social business arena. With a deep love and passion, Dana was instrumental in guiding Hollyhock and its programs to charitable status.
Dana and Joel married in 2003 and together as life partners they have led two decades of accomplished mission advancement.
