Miracles mean different things to different people but the miraculous always connects us with the divine, spirit or our Higher Self. Words don’t matter and can’t describe the event accurately, however, something deep and profound happens inside.
They can happen anywhere and Holistic Centers could be seen as places where openness to miracles is part of the energy of the Center. When Spirit is invited to be present miracles are not far away.
I wonder if those of us who work in Holistic Centers are choosing miracles in our own lives and by doing so, modelling to all who come that they can do the same? Imagine choosing to connect with Spirit in every moment and knowing what to do and say. And imagine who we would attract to join us!
But what happens when you get off track? You need help when conflict arises, tiredness sets in and you think you need your own space. You need to learn that the demanding workshop guest is not the cause of your irritation. The fussy workshop leader is not responsible for your headache. It is not the staff member who suddenly leaves in the middle of a busy season that makes you feel desperate. You need a miracle!
I have created a playful tool called Miracle Choice in the form of a Board Game that uses game cards to remind players that how they feel is always the result of an inner choice. If love and fear are both inner choices then how you feel and think will reflect your decision for either love or fear. The Board Game teaches that what happens in the world around you is never the cause of how you feel.
A Miracle Choice is a decision to take responsibility for how you feel and what you think. When you choose love rather than fear your irritation and desperation melts away and your headache disappears. Your perception of the demanding workshop guest, the fussy workshop leader and your staff numbers will change completely. The external situation will change in a way that reflects your inner choice for love.
Sometimes Holistic Centers are places where staff are able to connect and stay present to Spirit all though the day. But when negative feelings creep in, remembering you can make a Miracle Choice is very helpful. When you demonstrate to staff and guests that miracles are your choice then it is a gift to everyone including yourself!
I am grateful to the Findhorn Foundation and Community for supporting me on my spiritual journey in the late 90s and again over the last few years while play testing the Miracle Choice Board Game.
I am delighted to be present at the Centers Gathering this year in Greece. I am one of the Founding Directors of the HOLLY Foundation the legal entity behind the Kalikalos Holistic Centre, located in the Pelion region of Greece, and look forward to connecting with everyone present.
