Learning, Inspiration and Love

May 22, 2019 by Christine Lines 1 Comment

“Thank you for a wonderful Centers Gathering! HCN really put together a fantastic event, and it was such fun to visit Hollyhock. It was so great to participate this year, and I appreciate Terry and I being invited to hold the session on Leadership. I can’t wait to brainstorm possible follow-up ideas. There was certainly a lot of interest in the material, so maybe we can plan some webinars…”

This Gathering was fantastic! So much fun 🙂 Having Inspiring and motivated people gather together in a beautiful space really sets the stage for a high-vibe gathering.

I felt the World Cafe format was a great gathering tool. The World Cafe really helped to isolate key issues shared by Centers as well as stimulate inspiring conversations.

“Christine, I hope you can breathe in the deep beauty of what was created, shared and seeded this week. Thank you for being the ever intuitive nurturing soul you are to shepherd us all.” Jenyng.

I feel the session on leadership was one of the most pivotal/impactful sessions at the Gathering. Terry and Kim touched on a range of topics, including focused business issues that Esalen has encountered. (Discussions about business matters associated with running a successful Holistic Center are very important; especially when smaller centers have an opportunity to hear from larger, more established centers).

“Dear Christine, Thank you for your deft ability to guide us gently along the path. Your beautiful light shone through at each moment, you exuded a loving kindness and made us all feel comfortable and looked after. The gathering was amazing! So much learning and so many amazing people, stories and inspiration. Happy birthday in how many languages? My heart was with all of you in the closing circle.”

The Whole World Meditation was WONDERFUL!! Creating and anchoring connections across Earth.

That was such a beautiful, profound and all connecting world-Gaia meditation from Hollyhock. HCN gave a blessing to the world, with our Emissary communities involved, sensing a palpable unified field.

This morning’s meditation livestream gathering was beautiful; filled full to overflowing with love and light in service to the Highest.

I thoroughly enjoyed the meditation in the early hours of our morning in Australia, it was special visualizing us all together lighting up the globe!

Wow! Never had I ever had a BBQ Oyster….. the Oyster cuisine prepared by the Hollyhock team was truly delightful.

Like a homecoming or family reunion … with the side of the family that you really like 🙂

Excellent is a serious understatement. This was, by far, one of the most inspiring events I have ever attended.

“Thank you for the gift of a wonderful gathering at Hollyhock. The week flowed effortlessly from one engaging session to another, with precious time for deep connection to kindred and the land. Christine, your presence moulded my experience – gently guiding, playfully prodding, always smiling. You help us hold the space where the magic happens, and for that I am grateful.” Dennis

A breakout focus group for centres with a spiritual teacher/lineage was very useful, and we’ll continue that contact during the year.

The love, heart, and intent behind this session was wonderful and on-point (spreading awareness of these topics is much needed in this time). I very much enjoyed hearing about the bold efforts the Hollyhock team is taking to address diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Very impactful and informative! I feel that the marketing information can be viewed as invaluable for growing centers (especially for those centers looking to adopt new and impactful business tools for their centers).

This session was very well managed (with love)! I felt the fundraising component was very well communicated.

Thank you for slipping this sharing from Vishva Niketan into the glow of that last day. Really important to witness the potential role of centres to respond to unexpected and tragic events.

I do not have words to express the feelings that emerged during this session. I feel centers across the planet stand to learn from Charika and the efforts underway at her Peace Center in Sri Lanka.

A blast of gratitude to the entire HOLLYHOCK TEAM!!! The staff were fantastic, kind, and inspiring in all they did!

I like that the schedule had some openings that then allowed to be filled with emergent topics.

The ‘shadow’ of holistic organizations is always relevant and a meaningful conversation.

The gathering just gets better every year. Congratulations to all involved !😊

The sessions were really good but the big value in the gathering comes from the networking and connections you make with other centers.

The formal sessions were engaging and informative, and very relevant to leading a center – lots of useful learnings to bring back to the rest of the team. Even more than this the opportunity to get to know so many leaders from centres, to hear their experience and share stories was very inspiring. A key learning I take away is how similar our struggles and challenges are, and a joy and inspiration at all the work we are each doing, and to be able to share and support each other in this.

I was feeling immense gratitude for each and every participant during the closing session. I did not feel my words could adequately convey what I wanted to say. I felt called to let my silent presence speak for me. Sending gratitude and love to all who attended this year’s Gathering!

“Thank you for the amazing gathering last week. I feel that it was very successful, and that there was a major shift in the field that will manifest over time as a deeper presence of Love… in action, of course.” Jeff.

“I wanted to say a big thank you to you for a great gathering. Well organized, good content and well worth the investment of time and energy from Esalen. Looking forward to next year!” Terry.

This gathering has been INCREDIBLE. As a small center based way out in Yosemite National Park, I really feel folded into the greater network. This feels so vital. Thank you for creating this!
