The dates are now set for our annual gathering and once again we’ll be meeting in the Virtual Space. Save the dates 3 – 6 May and know that heartfelt connection, soulful nourishment and thought provoking inspiration will fill the space. We look forward to meeting in person when that’s possible once more and right now embrace the opportunity for your entire staff and support community to participate in live sessions.
Building on the success of our first Virtual Gathering in May 2020, and weaving in feedback from the network, we’re excited to share the unfolding schedule with you over the coming weeks. Throughout the event sessions are designed for powerful interaction and intimate engagement in groups large and small, meeting and learning from peers in other centers, celebrating the spirit of collaboration and mutual support.
Drawing upon the wisdom of leaders living and breathing how to run a center, this is a unique event tailored to the needs of today. We’ll also be welcoming experience from beyond the network. Over the last 12 months we’ve all been through an initiation phase into a new way of being. From that space a myriad of initiatives can emerge. Journey with us through the daily theme that builds on the one before. Connecting: in Community – Expanding: into Programming – Grounding: into Sustainability – Leading: into Impact.
In the opening session HCN Board President Jenyng Wu and Co-founder of the Centers Gathering Ralph White will share a few words of inspiration with the network. Then enjoy speed dating and connect with friends old and new. In addition to the wisdom of the group, we’re excited to welcome a remarkable thought leader, best selling author and cultural anthropologist to speak on day one. This voice illuminates Covid’s historical significance and relates to the importance of our collective work. If you’re curious to hear who it is watch this space!
We’ll dive into case studies from a range of centers, learning from successes and challenges. Enjoy interactive discussions, small breakout groups, panel conversations and Q&A. Each morning one of the centers in the Spiritual Lineage group will offer a wisdom practice. Each evening hosts will hold the space for Heart and Soul / Happy Hour, informal ways to connect playfully or meaningfully – the choice is yours. Share poetry and music. Strengthen wellbeing and resilience. Dialogue across difference. Dive deeper into role and relevance.
