Wandering Dao Qi Gong School

April 11, 2012 by Centers' Gathering Leave a Comment

Daniel Li Ox, the founder of Wandering Dao, will be attending the 2012 Gathering at the Findhorn Foundation. His main goal has always been to make self-healing and alchemical practices accessible to westerners. In the ‘9os he founded Tao Quebec, a Qi Gong School in Canada, which changed name for Wandering Dao Qi Gong School when he left Canada to teach on the road.

After 25 years of practices and deepening his knowledge of the traditional system and of the teaching methods that suits better the western mind, Daniel reorganized the system in a very practical way without compromising the traditional training. For more details about the Outreach Program he would like to bring forth click here.

As the name implies, the school is not located anywhere but where our masters or the ones interested in our teachings are. Our dream is to deliver to the many an intelligible system and pragmatic means to awaken ones inherent self-healing potential.

Intentions

1. Guiding and empowering people in their Self-Healing Process
2. Developing a large number of qualified instructors
3. Spreading the self-healing knowledge to the many

Education is our mean. Through the teaching of Tai Ji, Qi Gong, Dao Yin Yoga, Meditation, Nutrition, Chinese Medicine and of the Daoist Cosmological Wisdom our intention and mission is to give back and to democratize the inherent knowledge around self-healing, health maintenance, rejuvenation and longevity.

The traditional Chinese culture has compiled a treasure of teachings to maintain and improve health. It has been passed on from the Ancient China to today from masters to disciples. We want to publish and diffuse widely this information. Chinese medicine has one of the most effective and accessible medical knowledge to help ones prevent or manage common health issues. It is pragmatic and simple especially presented through our simplified “Eight Forces Training System”. For more details on our Training System click here

Curriculum

The Wandering Dao Qi Gong School offers a curriculum made of a fine selection of complementary teachings and training that aim to cultivate the knowledge and develop the various qualities and skills required by the human body, mind and spirit in its quest for balance and harmony.

Our “Eight Forces Training System” based on the Bagua (8 Universal Forces) is guiding the trainee through 8 inevitable fields of competence that are essential to handle soundly life on Earth like: Nutrition, mind control, emotional and sexual balance, cleansing & flexibility, immunity & strength, therapeutic self-care, movement & grace, and a proper understanding of the cosmological Laws.

So the practices offered in our curriculum acknowledge and consider the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual aspects of our humanness and helps one to regulate one’s unhealthy habits into an original, personal but healthy lifestyle that harmonizes oneself with the Universal Forces and with one’s peers. For more details on our various training click here.

Visions and Dreams

Wandering Dao Qi Gong School dreams of partnerships with holistic organizations and communities to reconnect humanity with its inherent self-healing potential through a simplified an accessible educational structure. Counting on these partnerships, we envision creating a large network of instructors who could accelerate this process of empowerment by contributing to various outreach programs throughout the world.

Ultimately we see Wandering Dao as a wandering member of the presently growing “Network of Light”, an extended limb reaching out to offer as a gift the Self-Healing Essentials Empowerment Program (S.H.E.E.P.). We believe that after having gained a wider recognition and more support we could shift our www.wanderingdao.com structure into a not-for-profit organization making all our teachings available to everyone free of charge through various technological means (audio conferences, videos, live stream talks and workshops).

This gathering has been INCREDIBLE. As a small center based way out in Yosemite National Park, I really feel folded into the greater network. This feels so vital. Thank you for creating this!
