Omega Institute invites people involved with holistic learning centers to gather together to learn from one another, share stories, and benefit from the experience of experts in the field. During Omega’s 18 years, we have had many opportunities to work with several other centers in the United States and abroad. Within this developing network, we’ve found many valuable skills and experience to share.
A Historical Perspective – The 1995 Invitation to New York
Dear Colleague,
Over the past ten years, a number of holistic centers have been meeting to network, “hang out”, and learn from each other’s mistakes. These meetings have been marked purely by good will: a group of good people trying to do good work. Over the years, most of the holistic centers throughout North America have been represented: Omega, Esalen, New York Open Center, Interface, Naropa, Hollyhock, Wainwright House, Chinook Leaning Center, and many more. Although these meetings have been heartfelt and very rewarding, we have felt a need to spend more time together to work on the “nuts and bolts” of running a holistic learning center. [Read more…]
A Historical Perspective – The 1993 Invitation to Moscow
Hello everybody,
The time has arrived to register for the 1993 International Center’s Gathering which will be held in Moscow, Russia. As most of you know, it will be the fourth time that center’s from North America, Western and Eastern Europe have come together for a time of deepening connections, learning from each other, spiritual communion and, of course, fun.
